Overview of Program:
- To assist in the expansion & improvement of
the sports program supported by the Gordon Heights Sports Coach &
Parent Association Inc.
- To provide opportunities for coaches, staff
& players to attend workshops & clinics that will contribute to
the success of the G.H. Sports CPA, sports program at athletic
competitions
- To plan joint consideration & action with
other organizations & agencies
- To assist in securing support for the Gordon
Heights Sport CPA
- To provide a framework & leadership for
resource allocation
- To regularly bring board members & executive
directors of the G.H. Sports CPA, together to exchange information
& to discuss plans, programs methods, trends & common problems, as
well as to get acquainted & share good fellowship
Purpose
The purpose of this program is to provide a
comprehensive athletic program for the community consisting of
low & middle income families.
Mission Statement
The mission of this program is to assist with
the development of all male & female children of different ages in
becoming a good person of morale character accepting victory or
defeat graciously, recognition of the right of others & respect to
authority. This multi-discipline athletic program will prepare
children to compete with loyalty in a sport. Children will
develop leadership & pride, within themselves as well as being
inspired to reach their goals in life.
